- The November PTA meeting is Tuesday, November 12th at 7PM.

- The Education Foundation is hosting its largest fundraiser on November 16th at the French Creek Golf Club. Tickets are $50.00 in advance or $60.00 at the door. The profits help to fund the education mini-grants. More information is available at http://www.ojref.org/help.php
- This week's WFSG on Thursday will be devoted to conference scheduling. Let's meet in the library at 7:50. Please bring your conference slips and schedules. Please do not schedule any conferences prior to meeting on Thursday.
- As you probably already know, our weekly grade-level meetings AND the WFSG are both opportunities for professional development. If we hope to continue our students' growth, the embedded professional development is vital to improving our craft.
- This Tuesday morning is a Level II/portfolio support drop-in session in the library. Josh Hoyt will be in the library at 7:50 for anyone who has questions or just wants to check-in.
- Since this is the" Year of the Writer", all classes are expected to have student writing hanging either in the classroom or in the hallway for parent-conferences. I suggest an explanation of the strategy or purpose of the writing hanging close to the student writing.
